WHY CHOOSE BSBI?

Visa and Immigration

In order to study long-term in Germany (longer than 90 days), you must apply for a student visa which lasts between 3-6 months. If you’re taking a course with a duration of less than 90 days, no visa is required. If you stay for longer than 3 months, you will also need a Residence Permit which you can get at the Alien Registration Office. 

Foreign students are also encouraged to open up a blocked bank account. This is just to reassure German authorities that you are able to afford your studies here. Find more information on the thank you page.

AWARDING BODIES 

Supporting student learning through the COVID-19 pandemic

In recent weeks, the COVID-19 case numbers in Berlin have registered a downward trend. In response to this, the Berlin Senate has decided to further relax restrictions. BSBI is now welcoming our students back on campus. Our community will still strictly abide by the rules outlined in BSBI's hygiene and protection policy to ensure your safety.

UG programmes

Only international students are eligible for the High Achiever scholarship scheme. 

Not applicable for European passport holders, you can apply for our current scholarships here.     

Students with high school scores from 60% will be eligible for the High Achiever scholarship scheme – from 50% for foundation programmes.

The High Achiever Scholarship scheme is subject to  approval by Admissions.

To secure the scholarship, a minimum deposit of €2,000 must be paid before the deadline.     

This scholarship cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or scholarships.      

Terms and conditions of the Study Agreement are still applicable.
